OBJECTIVE: Community Tissue Services needed to increase the number of qualified candidates for their organization by creating an engaging career page on their website that accurately reflected their values.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge for Community Tissue Services’ hiring campaign was to attract qualified candidates who shared the organization’s values. They also wanted to make sure that the equal opportunity employer section was worded in such a way that it would attract a diverse range of candidates.
SOLUTION
Hannah Krafka, a skilled public relations professional, was hired to lead the campaign. The first step was to conduct thorough research on the organization’s values and culture. Based on the research, Hannah created a messaging strategy that highlighted the unique aspects of Community Tissue Services, and created an engaging careers page that would attract qualified candidates.
The language and tone of the equal opportunity employer section was especially important in the messaging strategy. The wording was crafted to appeal to a diverse range of candidates, while also accurately representing the organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
RESULTS
The new career page and messaging strategy had a significant impact on the number and quality of candidates who applied to work at Community Tissue Services. The client was very pleased with the increased interest in their organization and the high-quality candidates who applied.
In addition, the language and tone of the equal opportunity employer section attracted a more diverse pool of candidates than the organization had seen before. This helped to increase the overall diversity of the organization and better reflect the communities they serve.
